Weaving God’s Promises
This curriculum was chosen for it’s focus on relationship building between the students and their church. All 4th and 5th graders are invited. The children in this class will mirror components of the Rite II worship service in order to practice leading and participating in worship services. They experience serving as acolyte, lector, intercessor, and collections while also practicing the role of altar and flower guild. The class is centered around their practice altar complete with accurate altar clothes, flowers, lit candles and an offering plate. These students are also invited to join in worship as trained acolytes, greeters and collectors during our Kids Up Front services and Après Ski Family Worship. Trained Acolytes will be invited to serve once a month during the 9:30am service.
Weekly, the students will come together for fellowship, bible readings, prayer for one another, offering, reflection on the reading, and a feast or activity to end class.
